The image of NGC253 at 242GHz (observed on Oct. 29, 2001) obtained by the first end-to-end analysis for SMA data using AIPS++. See SMA Testing Log #2469 for more details.
Current AIPS++ provides basic tools to calibrate and image both continuum and spectral line SMA data. Basic usage of AIPS++ for the SMA data analysis is discussed here. More general information and documentation on AIPS++ can be found at NRAO AIPS++ site .
