I am a Scientist at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. I have been stationed at NRAO's headquarters in Charlottesville, Virginia since 1972. I have been transferred to NRAO's Socorro, New Mexico facility. Socorro County includes the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge and Water Canyon as its premier birding locations so this is not all bad.

I used digitize my photos from 2000 on into the computer and I attach a selection below. Click on the small picture to see a larger collection of small pictures. Beginning in late 2006, I switched to digital cameras, so it is easier and better to present the pictures digitally.
