Socorro County, New Mexico in 2006-2007

These are pictures taken with my new Canon digital (8 Megapixel) camera, mostly with a 70-300 mm zoom lens (effective 110-480 mm). I have a doubler and a small scenery lens (18-55 mm) for this camera, but have stopped using them to avoid more dirt getting into the camera. Instead, I have purchased (06/2007) a small, point-and-shoot Nikon camera (7 Megapixel) which will allow adequate scenery shots and may well work for digi-scoping as well.
