Modelling of the gas around Sgr A*

Slice, 0.1 pc on a side, of the gas density for a 3D hydrodynamical simulation of the Galactic Center using distributed stellar wind sources (Coker & Melia). The accretor is marked with a filled black circle; the number density ranges from <50 cm-3 to > 5 104cm-3.
