The Philadelphia Science & Space Club Inc. (PSSC) is a West Philadelphia based group of parents and young students that meets on the Penn campus on Sunday afternoons. The director of the club is Reginald Mosley.

NOTE: In 2002, the schedule will change to approximately two meetings per month.

1/16/2002 - PSSC director Reginald Mosley was the recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Involvement Recognition Award and accepted the award on behalf of the Philadelphia Science & Space Club, Inc. and its staff and participants at the University's Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Program, held on Thursday,January 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the Bodek Lounge,Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce Street. This was part of the Univerity of Pennsylvania's "Remembering the Dream, Living the Vision" celebration.

We had our Annual Portfolio Binder Contest - thanks to Mr. Mosley and Joyce Collins who judged this year and to the participants that came out.

Please, let us work with our fund raising committee so we can add more cash and gifts to our students towards the contest.
Possible breakdown with our fundraising should be 20% to go towards Operating, trips, anniversary and binder.

The members of the Philadelphia Science & Space Club have their names on the Mars Pathfinder mission that landed on the red planet on July 4, 1997.
