1.3.2 Get the source ID from the field table for the specified field ID.


Description

Get the source ID from the field table for the specified field ID.

Arguments

Inputs

field

Zero-based field ID for which to return the source ID from the field table.

allowed:

int

Default:

-1

Returns
int

Example

 
    msmd.open("my.ms")  
    # get source ID associated with field ID 2  
    sourceid = msmd.sourceidforfield(2)  
    msmd.done()
