Ed will be in Socorro the next two months during which time he may make some changes in the way the group works. Mark Claussen, John Hibbard, Debra Shepherd, and Ed reported on details of what they have been working on. Both John and Mark reported some problems with calibration. Most of the comments involved needing better documentation and some possible improvements to details of how solutions are determined. Debra reported some problems using the bug tracking software (see below) and some problems using the region manager. Ed reported a problem with the default and documentation of "padding" in imaging a mosaic field. MSPLOT was discussed again, including Greg's email report. Progress is being made but some more work remains before it is ready for the general user. Testers were encouraged to exercise this task both in continuum and line mode over the next month. Athol announced that the release was being delayed one month. The release is now scheduled for November 15 and the freeze for Nov 7. ---Frazer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From dshepher@aoc.nrao.edu Thu Sep 27 11:22:57 2001 Date: Thu, 27 Sep 2001 13:10:26 -0400 (EDT) From: Debra Shepherd Subject: bug status listing on web Hi Joe, > See bug status lists on the web by: > go to ddts web site: http://aips2.nrao.edu/ddts/ddts_main > login as you: dshepher (click Login) > Hit Query & Report on the left hand side > Select : All defects submitted by X (click Query after this is > highlighted) > Select 'contains' and give it "shepher" > > You should now see all of your defects. I haven't looked for this type of information for probably a year now -- could be why Athol was under the impression that nothing had changed and I was under the impression that it had. It had changed but perhaps it was quite a while ago. I'm forwarding this to the rest of the testers so they will also know how to access their defect report lists.
