               Testing AIPS++  Detailed Log

May 2, 2000, session:

note: TTT = trouble
      BBB = bug
      QQQ = question

TTT> Got a new release from Tim.  Started up aips++ from CDROM but it 
hung in fitstoms.  Tried again from disk with the V1.3 build 400 but
it hung too in the same place (just after the progress meter pops up).

Rebooted machine.  aips++ seems ok now in fitstoms.  

Trying to run off the CDROM.  A bit slower than from disk.  Got
through fitstoms alright.  

BBB> Tried to create an imager tool.  Dies with following SEVERE ERROR:

NOW:
Caught an exception! Event type=create exception=Table  does not exist

Tried installing aips v1.3 build 404 off the CDROM.  Same problem.
Giving up.
