We are setting up an EVLA
Scientific Software Requirements (SSR) committe, which will have the
charge to draw up the requirements on the software systems for the EVLA,
elucidate use cases and fiducial modes of science operation of the EVLA,
and to interface with the NRAO Data Management (DM) groups that are
subcontracted for these tasks: the end-to-end (e2e) and AIPS++ projects.
This will be under the auspices of the EVLA Project Scientist (Rick Perley)
and EVLA Project Manager (Peter Napier).(2002-07-19)
