The image below was taken from a distance of approximately 131000 kilometers, from the HRI onboard the TAPE-1 spacecraft (in wide-angle mode). The apparent angular diameter of Tiresias in this image is 4 degrees. Tiresias is a cloud-covered planet, somewhat similar in appearance to Venus.
Tiresias has a single large moon, Macavity, which is visible in the frame behind Tiresias.
