These flags could be sent into a later round of 'extension' in frequency so that the affected timeranges are flagged for the excluded channels as well.
Note : This process of trial and error is currently required at-least once per spw. Based on tests with 5 EVLA datasets, it can be said that parameters do not have to be varied across antennas or baselines, but each SPW needs to be tuned separately.
