Double Ring Array

• Scaling factor of 2.1 (cf. 3 for the VLA)
• Operational Simplicity -- reconfigure once a month, 32 antennas
• 64 x 3 = 192 pads *
• All resolution with less than 70% increase in noise

Zoom Spiral Array

• Nearly continuous resolution
• Natureal Gaussian Taper (but only 1/2 angular resolution)
• Operational complexity -- 6 antennas moved each week, dedicated crew and subar ray mode?
• 180 pads
