M81 System in Atomic Hydrogen

M81, M82, and NGC 3077 in optical light (top) and mapped in 21cm HI emission at the VLA (bottom). Tidal streamers connect all three galaxies, in contrast to the optical image which shows all three galaxies appear isolated.
