1. Archive(ed) data products stored in Archive --

   - sizes, rates, OSRO, RSRO, science products..


2. Archive components...

   - storage - NGAS hosts, configuration, capacity, speed

   - AAT - servlet - java tomcat - user interfaces

   - data delivery to users - 

        proprietary protection
        EVLA conversion to CASA MS, AIPS uvfits

   - ALMA compatability

       ASDM data format
       ASDM UID format
       NGAS data repositories
       Oracle XML DB for SDM.xml tables
       CASA data reduction


3. Review operational model (rates, capacities, what's where)

   - data ingest

   - data storage

   - data access by users

   - data delivery


4. Relation with VAO-NRAO (OSO VAO comm.)

   - established 'boundries' ---

     - archive project maintains independence to develop as best
       suits the NRAO users

     - VAO develops with no dependence on EVLA archive architecture


   - interfaces

         meta data queries :

            Archive supports VAO (Table Access Protocol)

            Archive delivers results in VO Tables (if requested)

         data access :

            AAT will deliver data files to VAO as requested subject
            to proprietary restrictions

         ingest VAO data products :

            VAO will supply a general purpose tool for users and processes
            to present advanced data products to the archive for ingesting.

         CASA pipeline processes may use a VO interface for meta data queuries
         and data retrieval from the archive..

     
5. AAT - future development

   - re-engineer the software to bring it into the SSS family..

        use SSS modules wherever possible

        possibly use Hibernate, IceFaces, their JAXB support

        support long-term maintainability by SSS group..
