VLBA Calibrators List

The VLBA Calibrators List is currently under construction, so expect frequent changes and additions. Please don't hesitate to let us know of any problems or omissions you encounter.

This is a test version of the Calibrator Search Tool that I am using to experiment with. I'm trying out some of the tool requirements listed by Greg Taylor in his document. The final version of the tool should have the functionality of the test tool, but will have a much better appearence.

The calibrator sources accessed here contains sources from : 

  - the USNO 1998-6 ICRF solutions, 669 sources,
  - 392 sources from VLA Calibrator List,
  - all of the JVAS sources (refs. 1, 2, & 3), 2111 sources.

The .cgi program searchs through three flat text files now : 

  - vlbaCalib.txt  -  for source positions
  - vlbaCalibAlias.txt - source name aliases
  - vlbaCalibParms.txt - source flux, calcodes, position error bars
