Trinidad and Tobago: Tobago

Click on the small picture to see a larger, more detailed version. I toured Trinidad, staying at the Asa Wright Nature Centre, and Tobago, staying at the Blue Waters Inn. The trip was led by Jan Hansen (dba Otus Asio Tours otusasiotours@bellsouth.net). He leads a variety of trips, all of which I would recommend.

White-cheeked Pintail, Black-bellied Whistling-Duck, Least Grebe at Bon Accord Water Treatment Plant

Grey Kingbird, Broad-winged Hawk, Southern Lapwing, Wattled Jacana at Bon Accord Water Treatment Plant

Rufous-vented Chachalaca, Red-crowned Woodpecker, Barred Antshrike, Grafton House (lunch)

Blue-backed Manakin (no flash, darn), Rufous-tailed Jacamar, Fuscous Flycatcher at Grafton House

Along the roads: Green-rumped Parrotlet (before lunch), White-tipped Dove (Granby Point), and scenic overlook of Little Tobago Island.
