Vernay Laboratories--Capacity Planning System
The Capacity Planning system for VL relied heavily on the tooling
database, and was nearly as extensive. It simulated the production
of orders, providing graphic and numerical estimates of when they could
be produced and the loading of manpower, machines and required tooling.
I did all of the coding and nearly all of the design, with cogent advice
from my supervisor, Jim Bailey.
