SCHEDULING (2)TAPE HANDLING

• Include time for readback tests

• For VLBA, use automatic tape handling

  • Ignore passes and tape changes
  • Only stick within overall tape allotment

• If non-VLBA antennas included

  • Schedule in passes (normally 22 or 44 minutes)
  • Leave time for tape changes
  • Use allotted number of tapes
