Information for the operators on the project CALSUR
Running tables for the project CALSUR:
CALSUR
C-band files
CALSUR X-band files
CALSUR K-band files
Some points about the CALSUR excel lists of files ( RECENTLY UPDATED!!! ):
- There are two Ka-band CALSUR files (found in /home/mchost/evla/scripts/opt) that need to be performed
before any of the C-, K-, or X-band files:
- CALSUR_KaEM_2.evla - LST start range = 1000 to 1900
CALSUR is being performed in C-band, X-band, and K-band.
CALSUR can run on VLA and EVLA antennas because it is a continuum project.
CALSUR should be run on the array when there are no files in the dynamic queue at the open LST
range. If the weather is good (within wind and API limits and little
cloud cover) please observe K-band files.
K-band, C-band, and X-band files are listed in separate excel lists (see links above).
Please be sure to scroll all the way to the right for the notes section.
The list is sorted by LST first start range.
If the script ID is a filename then the file is located in
/home/mchost/evla/scripts/opt with the filename given under the script ID.
Wish list for the OPT:
- Auto-sizing of the menus. Currently when you have a long name
that you have copied and want to paste it runs off of the edge of the
menu bar.
- If you have large projects and select any of the functions from
the menu bar the position you are at in the left-hand panel is not
preserved. The left-hand panel jumps up to the top of all of your
projects. It should always preserve your position.
- It would be nice to have the scheduling constraints automatically
filled in or a button to apply observatory standards.
- If scrolling in the left-hand panel the icons at the top should
stay stationary.
- It would be really nice to be able to copy and paste multiple
items at once. Similar to holding down a shift button to select
multiple items when in a file navigation system.
- I need to be able to specify multiple LST start ranges when the file
can be observed. By only being able to specify one for some files I am
pigeonholing it into a very small LST start range. This is also needed since observing "over-the-top" is not
recommended.
