Science Tea
Each participating staff member will be responsible for a Science
Tea about every two months. This staff member will use the time in
one of the following ways:
- Report a recent research result they think of general interest.
- Report on a scientific meeting they recently attended.
- Discuss recent developments that affect the observatory's
future.
- Report on a recently developed piece of equipment or software.
- Review one, two or three papers from the very recent literature
that interests them.
- Recruit someone else who would do one of the above.
Science Tea will remain very informal; PowerPoint® presentations
are not encouraged. Guidelines are no more than about three pictures,
and the presenter should not stand beside the PC.
