VLA Reports Menu
This menu controls various report generators for listing the schedule.
The schedule should be "computed"
before generating a report to be check for errors and to be sure that the
apparent positions, move times etc. are correct. Any errors or warnings
will be displayed. The report generators will invoke a file browser for
you to specify where the report is to be written. These reports can be
viewed using the "Edit File"
editor from the Edit menu.
Summary report
This is terse, one line per scan report giving positions, start, stop
and dwell times (time on source) as well as apparent positions (az, el).
Scheduling report
This report gives the basic celestial position, time and apparent
positions using several lines per scan.
Frequency report
This report gives the position and frequency information for each scan.
Time-on-source report
This report summarizes the total time and range of observing geometry
used for each source.
Analyst's report
This is a terse position and frequency report.
Full report
This is a very verbose report giving great detail about each scan.
