Editing lists and scan information

The contents of the User Defaults List, the Source List, the Observe List, and the Paste List can all be edited. Select items to be edited by highlighting with a single click on the Scan ID, and using the following commands:

Cut Scan (Edit menu/Cut on bottom panel/Ctrl-X): copy selected items to the Paste List and delete from current list

Copy Scan (Edit menu/Copy on bottom panel/Ctrl-C): copy selected items to Paste List

Delete Scan (Edit menu/Delete on bottom panel/Ctrl-D): delete selected items

Paste Scan after (Edit menu/Paste after on bottom panel/Ctrl-V): insert the contents of the Paste List after the selected item

Paste before (bottom panel): insert the contents of the Paste List before the selected item

Clear a list (Edit menu): allows the user to delete all items in a list (can be reversed using Undo on bottom panel)

You may return to the Edit Lists Page at any time by selecting Edit Lists in the Edit menu.

The contents of any scan in the User Defaults List, the Source List, the Observe List, and the Paste List may be edited by double-clicking on the Scan ID in the list. If there are several scans for which a field needs to be changed in the same way, options for Global edits and Block edits are available from the Edit menu. Settings in the Initial Default Scan can also be modified using Edit new source initial values in the Edit menu.
