NOTE: several of the bugs in JObserve versions 1.6.5 and 1.7.0 have been fixed in version 1.7.3, and we highly recommend that you use the latter version if possible. If you do use an earlier version of JObserve, however, please refer to the Cookbook specific to that version, which will contain notes on working around some of the bugs. An intermediate version of JObserve, 1.7.2, contains a scheduling bug and should not be used.
