NOTE: several of the bugs in JObserve versions 1.6.5 and 1.7.0 were fixed in version 1.7.3. Version 1.7.4 is the same as version 1.7.3, but updated for the leap second introduced at 2006 January 0, and a more recent version of Java. We highly recommend that you use version 1.7.3 or 1.7.4 if possible. If you do use an earlier version of JObserve, however, please refer to the Cookbook specific to that version, which will contain notes on working around some of the bugs. These are available at http://www.aoc.nrao.edu/software/jobserve/Cook_Book/.

An intermediate version of JObserve, 1.7.2, contains a scheduling bug and should not be used.
