The final oral and poster programs are now available, via the links below.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:   We regret to announce that the 2006 Jansky Lecture has been CANCELLED, and will not be given in the evening after the Symposium. The New Mexico Symposium WILL STILL BE HELD AS PLANNED.

Dark skies and remote sites have attracted world-class astronomical facilities to the Southwest and supported a wide range of research since the mid-1900s. Our achievements span areas in both science and technology including optical and radio interferometry, and research in solar physics, planetary science, star and galaxy formation, and the creation and evolution of our universe. To support the network of scientific research in the Southwest and encourage interdisciplinary discussions, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) is sponsoring the 22nd Annual New Mexico Symposium on Friday, 2006 October 6, at the NRAO Array Operations Center (AOC) in Socorro, NM.

REGISTRATION:   Registration is now closed. The final list of registrants is available. Please call Terry Romero (505-835-7315) or Jon Romney (505-835-7360) to request late registration.

LOCATION:   The Symposium will be held in the Array Operations Center of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. The AOC is located on the campus of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico. Directions and maps of the local area are available.

ORAL PROGRAM:   The final oral program is now available. Talks will begin at 09:00 in the AOC Auditorium, located off the lobby, immediately adjacent to the main entrance. The program is scheduled in 20-minute slots, including 5 minutes for questions and discussion.

POSTER PROGRAM:   The final poster program is now available. Posters will be displayed in the AOC Common Room, located on the upper floor at the head of the main staircase.
