Accommodations in Socorro

NRAO has rooms blocked at 4 motels in Socorro, all loacted at the north end of California Street (about a half-mile from the meeting facilities). Participants are responsible for contacting one of these motels and making a reservation before 6 May 2000; credit card information will be necessary to reserve the room. Participants from outside the USA may contact Terry Romero (tromero@nrao.edu; (505) 835-7315) for assistance in making the reservation.

Note that there are the only motels to/from which we will provide transportation during the conference.

Please mention that you are with the Gas and Galaxy Evolution conference to obtain the guaranteed rate listed below. If you think you may be eligible for a reduced rate (e.g. based on AAA membership) you should probably mention that as well.
