Radio Astronomy for Teachers

The 2006 session of Radio Astronomy for Teachers, a 2-credit course presented through the Master of Science Teaching program at New Mexico Tech is now finished. The teachers were an industrious lot. For two weeks they listened to lectures, participated in hands-on activities, and used the Small Radio Telescope at the VLA Visitor Center (accessed remotely from the AOC) and the 2-element Instructional Interferometer at Etscorn Observatory to try their skill at observing. Their research findings, presentations and lesson plans are below. Information about our 2004 class is here. Modified on Friday, 26-Sep-2008 11:48:38 MDT by Robyn Harrison
