The Main Event: A Three Round Fight with Sagittarius A*

The 3 million solar mass black hole in the Galactic Center, Sagittarius A*, has proved significantly mysterious since its discovery 31 years ago. I will summarize progress that we have made toward understanding the physical processes that surround this object in three areas: broad band flux monitoring including radio measurements, radio and millimeter wavelength polarimetry, and high resolution radio imaging. In particular, these observations have given us new insights into the physics of accretion and outflow. Finally, I will discuss future observations that will probe the black hole environment on the scale of the event horizon.
