We have begun a near IR program to obtain images of the stellar clusters and spectroscopy of the stars exciting the Giant HII regions of our Galaxy. In all cases a central cluster (or clusters) is identified and in most, examples are found of some stars still in their birth phases. This radio selected sample is then on average younger than (optically selected) GHII regions of similar luminosity found in other galaxies.
