The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) is approaching regular operations. The imaging data rate is 20GB/hr of 5-band imaging data from 30 x 20482 pixel CCDs. I will discuss the problems of dealing with this data, and in particular some of the novel algorithms employed in the image processing.
