The Hubble Deep Field

Things That Go Burst in the Night


The Hubble Deep Field provides the clearest view yet of galaxies in the early universe. In this talk, the genesis and development of the Hubble Deep Field and the implications of these and other deep Hubble images for the history of star formation in the universe will be discussed.
